Details

DfE has reviewed 43 powers of entry to determine whether or not they remain necessary, proportionate and provide adequate safeguards for all concerned.

Powers of entry in legislation sponsored by DfE relate to the permissions to enter premises which are controlled by Ofsted, Ofqual, local authorities, the Children’s Commissioner and the Secretary of State.
