Schools revenue funding operational guide: 2022 to 2023

Local authorities and schools forums should use this guidance to plan the local implementation of the funding system for the 2022 to 2023 financial year.

Disapplication proformas

Please note that we have updated the schools block disapplication proforma as of 18 October 2021. We have included further detail on the requirement of the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) and the recording of equalities impacts.

Please refer to the Movements between blocks section within the Schools operational guide: 2022 to 2023 for further information on block transfer requests, including details of supporting evidence we would expect to be submitted alongside a completed proforma.

  1. We've updated the schools revenue funding operational guide: 2022 to 2023

  2. We have amended the return date for schools block disapplication submission amendment to the 14 January in the local authority activity section.

  3. We have updated the disapplication proformas to include further detail on the requirement of the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) and the recording of equalities impacts.

  4. We have updated the disapplication proforma and included link to further information on block transfer requests.
