Details
All road hauliers (including drivers) travelling to the UK must operate an ‘effective system’ to prevent people using their vehicles to enter the UK illegally.
If you do not have an effective system, or do not operate the system properly, then you will receive a penalty of up to £2,000 per clandestine entrant carried.
A clandestine entrant is a person who hides in or on a vehicle to avoid going through UK border control.
