This impact assessment examines the effect that the Prevention of Social Housing Fraud Act 2013 will have. The Act’s main provisions are: new criminal offences of unauthorised sub-letting of social housing and the introduction of new powers for social housing fraud investigators to obtain data relevant to their enquiries.
