Prime UK Land Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the Upper Tunbridge Wells Sands formation at Lyons Farm, Broadbridge Heath, from National Grid References TQ 13631 30984 (point A) and TQ 13642 30925 (point B).
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 1.79 cubic metres an hour
- 43 cubic metres a day
- 15,695 cubic metres a year
The water will be used for private water supply to a residential development.
