Details

This research looks at adult learners (aged 19 plus) taking a maths or English course as a standalone qualification or alongside an apprenticeship or classroom-based course.

The research focuses on the highest prior qualifications of adults who were undertaking maths and English qualifications in Further Education. It also sought to understand the extent to which technology is used in these courses and the impact technology has on learning.

The survey was conducted between June to July 2015, and involved interviews with 4,342 learners.
