HMRC is using Voice Identification (Voice ID) technology to help enhance the security of its customers’ accounts, by reducing the risk of fraud and making information safer. The technology makes it faster and easier for customers to speak to an HMRC adviser. It is more secure and will improve the customer journey.
This Privacy Impact Assessment sets out the project’s use of personal data.
