Details
Schools that form part of a closed private finance initiative (PFI) contract and who want to convert to an academy should use the documents on this page.
Use these documents to create your academy’s:
- funding agreement
- school agreement (this will replace any existing governing body agreement)
- principal agreement (this sets out DfE’s level of financial support to the local authority)
This is more guidance on the process for becoming an academy.
For schools with a religious character see Church academies: model documents.
