This research was commissioned to understand private provision of occupational health services in the UK.
Occupational health is defined in the research as those advisory and support services which help to maintain and promote employee health and wellbeing.
The main topics covered in the report are:

- private market interaction with the NHS
- workforce issues and provider capacity
- outcome data collection
- marketing methods
The research findings will help inform future policy development relating to occupational health. The full report will be published in autumn 2019.
