Details

This research was commissioned to explore the early implementation of the Private Sector Midlife MOT programmes being piloted in 3 geographical areas, by 3 separate providers. The aim of the research was to gain insight from providers, employers and participants in the programme as to how the Midlife MOT was being delivered and received.

The programme aims to help people:

  • gain increased confidence in their later-life planning
  • gain an increased awareness of their position in relation to the 3 key areas of work, wealth and wellbeing

Research value

The research has allowed the department to understand how the Midlife MOT might be delivered in the private sector and to learn some of the barriers and benefits of this mode of delivery.
