Professor Dame Angela McLean, the Government Chief Scientific Adviser, has conducted a review of how pro-innovation regulation can support regulated industries and has put forward cross-cutting recommendations, including on the regulators’ Growth Duty, to government. The government has published a response that accepts recommendations to encourage pro-innovation regulation and that sets out plans for implementation.
