Professor Dame Angela McLean, the Government Chief Scientific Adviser, with input from experts Sir John Bell and Camilla Fleetcroft, has conducted a review of how pro-innovation regulation can support life sciences and has put forward recommendations to government. Joyce Tait also provided expertise on areas beyond human health. The government’s response accepts Dame Angela’s recommendations and sets out how these will be implemented.

This final report from the Review follows interim findings that were reflected in a letter from Sir Patrick Vallance to the Chancellor that was published on 15 March.
