Details

The Victim Notification Scheme (VNS) was piloted in three probation regions. It is a scheme for victims of stalking, harassment and coercive and controlling behaviour, where the length of sentence is less than 12 months.

A process evaluation was undertaken to explore how the new scheme operated and the perceived impact on criminal justice practitioners and victims. It also sought to identify parts of the new process that worked well and any areas where further improvements were required.
