Details

This study explores research literature, guidance documents and practitioner-based knowledge on pupil behaviour. It has a particular emphasis on the role of leaders in the improvement of positive behaviour in schools and similar settings.

It considers leadership related issues across the following themes:

  • school cultures, relationships and behaviour
  • partnerships and communities
  • professional characteristics and behaviour
  • promoting inclusion and limiting exclusion

It also discusses the characteristics seen in effective leadership practice in improving positive behaviour.
