The Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero gave notice on 6 September 2024, pursuant to Section 9(4) (as modified by Section 16 and Schedule 1) of the Energy Act 2023, of the proposal to grant carbon dioxide transport and storage licences to Liverpool Bay CCS Limited and Net Zero North Sea Storage Limited.
