This is the fifth and final Prosperity Fund annual report. It shows how the UK government has promoted prosperity in partnership with governments and the private sector across over 20 emerging and fast-growing economies where development challenges persist. It explains progress and achievements made in 2020 to 2021, across areas relevant to successfully achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In this financial year, the Prosperity Fund spent £248 million, of which £239.3 million was Official Development Assistance (ODA) and £9 million was not ODA.
The cross-government Prosperity Fund ended on 31 March 2021, and this work has now moved to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
