This document contains the following information: Protocol drawn up on the basis of article K. 3(2) (c) of the Treaty on European Union, on the scope of the laundering of proceeds in the Convention on the use of information technology for customs purposes and the inclusion of the registration number of the means of transport in the Convention: Brussels, 12 March 1999.

The United Kingdom instrument of ratification was deposited on 15 January 2008 and the Protocol entered into force for the United Kingdom on 14 April 2008. This Convention was previously published as EC series no. 2 (2006) Cm. 6986 (ISBN 9780101698627).

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
