Details
This guidance sets out the requirements for operators of local bus and coach services so they can provide accessible information on board. It will help operators abide by the new regulations while giving disabled people the confidence to travel on local services.
The guide sets out:
- accessibility requirements for bus and coach operators, including providing audible and visible information consistent with the regulations
- exemptions to the regulations
- timescales of implementation
- enforcement processes
The Department for Transport (DfT) developed this guide to help operators comply with the Public Service Vehicles (Accessible Information) Regulations 2023.
