1. Contractor announced

Education Funding Agency has appointed Bowmer and Kirkland Construction as the contractor for the £36million contract for the east midlands capital batch. All nine schools are located in the Leicester and Nottingham area.

More than 3,000 pupils in 8 primary and 1 secondary schools will be taught in new buildings.

The schools included in this east midlands capital batch are:

  • Brierley Forest Primary School
  • Forest Lodge Primary School
  • Glenbrook Primary School
  • John Davies Primary School
  • Leamington Academy
  • Lynncroft Primary
  • Springfield Primary School
  • Sunnyside Primary School
  • South Notts Academy
