Details

Education Funding Agency has appointed Sir Robert McAlpine as the contractor for the £56 million contract for the first North East of England capital batch (9 schools located in Stockton on Tees, Durham, Gateshead, Sunderland, Goole and Sheffield).

More than 5,100 pupils in 2 special, 4 primary and 3 secondary schools will be taught in new buildings.

The schools included in the North East of England batch are:

  • Ian Ramsey Church of England School
  • Goole High school
  • King James I Academy
  • Durham Trinity Specialist Sports College
  • Hilltop Specialist Arts College
  • Fox Hill Primary School
  • Prince Edward Primary School
  • West Cornforth Primary School
  • Usworth Grange Primary School
