This survey collects data on public attitudes towards trade and government trade policy.
It looks at:
- how much people know about international trade
- what people think free trade is
- how much support there is for free trade agreements (FTAs)
- what people think the impacts of future FTAs will be
- what people would like to prioritise in future trade deals
This data was collected between 10 June 2019 and 13 August 2019:
- through a combination of face-to-face and online interviews
- using a representative sample of 2,349 individuals in the UK
