Details

Public Bodies 2016 provides a single transparent source of top-level data on all non-departmental public bodies, executive agencies and non-ministerial departments. The term quango is sometimes used informally to describe bodies such as these.

This information is published to make public bodies more transparent, which in turn helps taxpayers hold decision-makers to account.
