This guidance has been produced to provide advice to Parole Board members who may find themselves appointed to a hearing which is to be held in public.  This guidance covers the process in terms of holding a case conference and logistics for the proceeding, and what the panel chair may need to consider when providing a view on the appropriateness of the hearing being held in public.
