The Public Land for Housing programme supports the government’s Estate Strategy aim to identify and release surplus central government land.
It also contributes to government’s ambition to boost the supply of homes and be on track to deliver 300,000 homes a year by the mid-2020s.
This report covers programme performance up to December 2018 against the aim to release land for 160,000 homes by end of March 2020.
