1. Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Please accept the PCA’s apologies as an administrative error occurred with the issuing of this response and hence the delay in responding.

Thank you for your email, received on 24 July 2023, in which you requested information from the office of the Pubs Code Adjudicator (PCA) under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 entitles you to:

  • know whether the information you have requested is held by the PCA; and
  • be provided with that information, subject to any exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which may apply.

You have requested the following information:

Please may you provide me, in Microsoft Excel or an equivalent electronic format, with a list of invoices that were not paid within 30 days for the last 6 financial years (2017/18 to 2022/23 inclusive) which would feed into the Regulation 113 Notice you are required to publish each year as part of your obligations under The Public Contracts Regulations 2015, with the following information for each invoice (where available):

  • The name of the Supplier
  • Supplier email address
  • Supplier company registration number
  • Supplier postal address
  • Supplier telephone number
  • Supplier website
  • The date of the invoice
  • The invoice reference
  • The gross value of the Invoice
  • The date the invoice should have been paid by
  • The actual payment date of the invoice
  • The total amount of interest liability due to late payment of the invoice
  • The total amount of interest paid to the supplier due to late payment of the invoice.

I can confirm that the office of the PCA does hold some information relevant to your request. The PCA holds relevant information for the years 2020/2021 onwards. Please see the enclosed document setting out the information held. No interest has been paid to any supplier due to late payment of an invoice.  

If you do not believe that the office of the PCA has provided an appropriate response to your request, as set out above, you are entitled to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your original request and should be made in writing, quoting the above reference, to office@pubscodeadjudicator.gov.uk or:
