Details
This grant provides additional funding that publicly funded schools in England use to support disadvantaged pupils.
Read the conditions of grant document to understand the terms, which pupils are eligible and how it should be spent.
The first data file displays the numbers of pupils eligible for pupil premium funding in the 2018 to 2019 financial year. There are separate tabs on this spreadsheet displaying numbers nationally, by local authority, and by parliamentary constituency.
The second data file displays the numbers of pupils eligible for pupil premium funding in the 2018 to 2019 financial year at school level. This spreadsheet includes a tool to display individual schools’ records.
Further guidance is available advising schools how the premium should be spent and how we hold them accountable.

We have updated the published allocations to reflect quarter 4 payments. We have also fixed a typo in paragraph 10 of the conditions of grant: "Local authorities may not carry forward funding held centrally into the financial year 2018 to 2019." has been changed to "Local authorities may not carry forward funding held centrally into the financial year 2019 to 2020."
