1) The number of pupils leaving school at the end of year 11 each year over the past decade.
2) The AS exams results for pupils leaving school at year 11 over the same period.
3) The relative numbers of pupils being accepted into year 11 by academies versus local-authority-maintained schools.
4) The relative numbers of pupils leaving at the end of year 11 by academies versus local-authority-maintained schools.
5) Please also provide a year-by-year summary of the policy changes which have affected the school life of a pupil currently studying in year 12 - eg changes from modular to linear assessment.

1) The number of pupils leaving school at the end of year 11 each year over the last decade
The Department for Education begun publishing destination measures in 2012, which show the proportion of students completing year 11 (key stage 4) and going to a range of sustained education and training destinations. The latest data available, which was published on 20 October, are for students entering a destination in 2013 to 2014. Read destination measures data.

The latest data available is for students at the end of key stage 4 in 2013 to 2014.
3) The relative number of pupils being accepted into year 11 by academies versus local-authority-maintained schools.
The Department for Education does not hold data on pupils being admitted to school in year 11. It only holds information on the coordinated admissions process. Data is collected for both secondary and primary school applications. This data is published in the secondary and primary school applications and offers statistical first releases.

The published destination measures mentioned are available by school type. The latest data available is for students entering a destination in 2013 to 2014. Read destination measures data.
