This research aimed to understand:
- how useful customers found their Annual Tax Summary and what they used It for
- customers’ attitudes towards the Annual Tax Summary
- customers’ views on the design of the Annual Tax Summary
- whether customers preferred receiving the Annual Tax Summary online or by post
The research comprised 7 in-depth focus groups and 12 face-to-face interviews with people paying tax though Pay As You Earn (PAYE) and/or Self Assessment.
