The Board and CMA Executive have agreed that Race should continue to be a priority focus.
The CMA is conscious that a number of actions were implemented during the calendar years 2020 and 2021 to deliver our first Race Action Plan which need to be tracked, progress monitored and the effectiveness of the initiatives fully evaluated. Evaluation will ensure that we can demonstrate our actions in areas such as career development pathways and introducing our Advisory Committee have the desired impact and we are working on the right solutions and improvements.
In addition, we will ensure that we monitor the progress we are making with improving outcomes for colleagues from ethnically diverse communities and continue to take action to raise the profile of our work and connect with other organisations to share practice and learning.
This report and commitment is part of our Diversity and inclusion strategy 2020 to 2024.
