We have a received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
Statistics on racism related arrests at football matches in England and Wales for the periods:
• August 2010 - July 2011
• August 2011 - July 2012
We released the following information on 19 December 2012.
Racially aggravated public order offences (under section 4, 4a and 5 of the Public Order Act 1986)
• 2010/11 season 57 arrests
• 2011/12 season 75 arrests
Arrests under the Football (Offences) Act 1991 for racist or indecent chanting
• 2010/11 season 31 arrests
• 2011/12 season 43 arrests
