Details

The report reviews the scientific and medical evidence of the effects of exposure to high doses of ionising radiation and what health detriment these effects bring about. It also considers the available treatments and other actions available to ameliorate such effects.

The report also considers the psychological effects in both those exposed to high doses of radiation and those who may be called upon to treat the exposed people.
