We have replaced the RSR fundamental principles in this document with Radioactive substances regulation (RSR) objective and principles. We have published the generic developed principles on regulatory assessment separately and have withdrawn the generic developed principles on regulatory process.

Details

The principles provide a standardised framework for the technical assessments and judgments that RSR regulators have to make. It underpins all of the decisions that we make on radioactive substances regulation, including those about permitting.
