An updated version of the reasonable adjustments policy for judicial office holders with disabilities to reflect the changes arising from the Equality Act (2010).

The Ministry of Justice is committed to fulfilling its obligations under the Equality Act (2010) to ensure that people with disabilities can play a full role in the judicial system. Our policy is to ensure that judicial office holders with disabilities are treated fairly and consistently.

The updated policy is the result of internal consultation with representatives from the Judicial Appointments Commission, Ministry of Justice, Judiciary of England & Wales and the Tribunals Service.
