This guidance is to help individuals and organisations understand whether they are required to join the statutory Register of Consultant Lobbyists. It covers:

  • how to join the Register of Consultant Lobbyists, including what information to submit for initial registration and for quarterly information updates
  • the requirement to register – who is required to join, who is exempt and the criteria for conducting the business of consultant lobbying
  • frequently asked questions about particular situations in which individuals and organisations might have to register
