This document is agreed joint guidance between Ofsted and the CQC about the registration of children’s settings under the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Health and Social Care Act 2008, including children’s homes that provide health activities. It clarifies what children’s settings will need to register and how Ofsted and CQC will manage this registration process.
