Details

The Office for Nuclear Regulation and the Environment Agency (collectively called ‘the Regulators’ in this review), have established agreements with the Radioactive Waste Management Directorate (RWMD) to review RWMD’s work towards implementing geological disposal and developing a geological disposal facility.

This scrutiny will help the RWMD implement and develop the applications needed for licensing and permitting.
