The National Health Service (Cross-Border Healthcare) Regulations 2013 implemented an EU directive on patients’ rights to healthcare in the European Economic Area (EEA).

The Secretary of State must review the regulations at least every 5 years.

The report finds that the requirements of the regulations have been met and the regulations are still the most appropriate way to meet those requirements.
