Regulatory Interface Management (RIM) group
The Regulatory Interface Management (RIM) group’s purpose is to provide a forum for early engagement concerning regulatory matters related to the implementation of geological disposal for higher activity radioactive wastes.
Role of the group

regulators - the Environment Agency, the Office for Nuclear Regulation, Natural Resources Wales and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency
-
government departments
-
representatives of other permissioning bodies
Regulatory scrutiny
The regulators undertake a programme of scrutiny of our work and organisational development. They periodically publish reports: Geological disposal: scrutiny of Radioactive Waste Management Limited’s (RWM) work
