The Renewables Obligation (Amendment) (Energy Intensive Industries) Order 2017 requires the Secretary of State to publish a revised renewables obligation level for 2018/19 to introduce an exemption for eligible Energy Intensive Industries (EIIs) from the indirect policy costs of the RO from 1 April 2018.
January 5 2018: We have updated the publication “Revising the level of the Renewables Obligation in Great Britain for 2018/19…” to correct a typographical error in the Annex:
Table 1, step 9, third column of the ‘revised obligation level’ calculation: in points (i) and (ii) the output of the calculation 0.452 x 283.7 TWh = 128.2m ROCs (not 117.9m). There has been no change to the previously published revised obligation level.
