This is a report on the Employment and Support Allowance (Limited Capability for Work and Limited Capability for Work-Related Activity) Amendment Regulations 2011 (S.I.2011 No.228).

The report by the Social Security Advisory Committee (SSAC) was prepared under section 174(1) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 and includes a statement by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions in accordance with sections 174(2) of that Act.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement.
