This document contains the following information: Report of the Gambling Commission 2005 to 2006. This is the first annual report of the Gambling Commission, which was launched on 1 October 2005 under provisions in the Gambling Act 2005. It has taken over the role of the Gaming Board for Great Britain in regulating casinos, bingo clubs, gaming machines and the larger society (charitable) lotteries; it will also have responsibility for regulating betting and remote gambling.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
