Details

This report concerns a claim for a rare 12th century Manuscript now in the possession of the British Library. The conclusion of the report was that the manuscript was looted and should be returned to its rightful owner.

For this to be possible, the panel recommended that legislation should be introduced to permit restitution of this type of object.
