Details

This study sought to address gaps in the existing evidence base regarding the financial sustainability of the UK press sector, and to provide a comprehensive picture of the current financial state and challenges observed in the industry, including with regard to key cost pressures, revenue streams, asset and liability dynamics and overall profitability.

This work will be used to inform the government’s press sustainability policy and the design of any future interventions to support the sector.
