Details
This toolkit is for local partnerships to help improve the residential drug and alcohol treatment that they commission.
These local partnerships include:
- local authority drug and alcohol commissioners
- community and prison drug and alcohol treatment service providers
- residential treatment service providers
- criminal justice partners
- homelessness service providers
- people with lived experience
The toolkit will help local areas to bring relevant partners together to review and assess their local processes relating to:
- governance
- data management
- pathways and professional relationships
It will also help partners to identify what is working well, and where things could work better. Once it’s complete, they can use the self-assessment results to inform a local action plan to improve access to residential treatment for people who need it.
