The Committee on Standards in Public Life (CSPL) published its 15th report on 29 June 2015, the first report in the committee’s history that looked specifically at policing.

The CSPL made a total of 20 recommendations in the report. The majority of these were for Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) and other local policing bodies such as Police and Crime Panels (PCPs), and the Local Government Association. A number of recommendations were directed to the Home Office. This response considers all 20 recommendations.
