The Home Office responds to the Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration’s (ICIBI) report titled ‘An Inspection of the Home Office’s response to in-country clandestine arrivals (‘lorry drops’) and to irregular migrants arriving via “small boats”’.

The ICIBI has made five recommendations. The Home Office has fully accepted three recommendations, and partially accepted two.
