The government responded to the Office for National Statistics consultation on the census and future provision of population statistics.

Details

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) launched a consultation - The census and future provision of population statistics in England and Wales on 23 September 2013.

This is the response made by the government in January 2014.

The ONS and the UK Statistics Authority presented the outcome of the consultation and advice to the government in March 2014.
