In March 2018 Max Hill QC, Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, published his report into the Westminster Bridge terrorist attack.

This government response addresses the following topics that were covered in the report:

  • transporting detainees
  • informing detainees of their rights at the earliest opportunity
  • religious questions during interviews
  • reconsideration of bail before charge
