We have written an open letter to suppliers and retailers in the musical instruments sector warning them that they should not participate in resale price maintenance (RPM).

We have evidence suggesting that RPM has been widespread in the musical instruments sector and have taken enforcement action in five separate cases.

The CMA has also published advice for retailers about what they need to know about resale price maintenance (RPM) agreements and how to comply with competition law.
