Details

The Government Equalities Office funded the ‘Return to social work’ programme to support previously registered social workers back into social work.

The programme ran from 2019 to 2021, and was delivered in partnership with the Local Government Association. Returners were given training, including support for sourcing placements with local councils, to refresh their skills and support them to return as registered social workers.

This report details the evaluation of the programme.
